Summit Pacific is a vibrant and expanding public hospital district that operates a Critical Access Ho Our hospital is unique due to our size and accessibility.

Summit Pacific Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital with a level IV Trauma Designation. We offer 24-hour emergency services including a full service laboratory and diagnostic imaging department. Our Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week by an ED Physician. We also operate three rural healthcare clinics an urgent care clinic that is open seven days a week and a virtual car

e clinic. We pride ourselves on our low emergency department wait times and our ability to give patients access to a doctor quickly.

During the monthly Summit Pacific Board meeting on Thursday, May 28, Summit Pacific leadership proudly recognized the winners of the annual 2026 Patient Experience Champions Award. The celebration, attended by caregivers, leaders, Board Commissioners, and award recipients, marked one of the best attended Board meetings in Summit Pacific history.

Patient Experience Champions are nominated by their peers and selected through a vote by Summit Pacific leadership. The recognition honors caregivers who consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to creating a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment for patients, families, and colleagues. Honorees are recognized for communicating with kindness, empowering others through mentorship, and contributing to organizational excellence through innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Last Friday, the Summit Pacific Medical Foundation hosted the 19th Annual Summit Pacific Medical Foundation Golf Tournament, bringing together community members, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for a shared purpose — helping support critical healthcare services for our community.
