A long time ago, I told someone I really looked up to about this idea I had of becoming a cosmetic injector and building something around Botox and aesthetics. This was before med spas were everywhere and before we were all bouncing around dancing on TikTok to promote it lol.

At the time, I was told it probably wasn’t going to happen and that injecting would be more of a hobby than an actual career. 😔

I worked two jobs. I drove over an hour from my house for YEARS to work and train with a doctor who taught me SO much. I took out thousands of dollars in loans for classes so I could keep learning and getting better.

And I started with a patient base of literally zero. Lol. I mean, I get it though… it’s your FACE! 😂

I’ve been injecting since 2018, and it took years of learning, working, building relationships, gaining trust, making mistakes, growing, crying, laughing, wanting to give up…and deciding not to.

Fast forward to today, and my patient base has grown to the point that I’m getting close to having to close my books. Companies I once paid thousands of dollars to learn from are now reaching out and offering to send me to trainings and classes. That part still feels a little surreal. 😭

I don’t say any of this to brag. I say it because if you have an idea that feels a little crazy or out of the ordinary, but you cannot stop thinking about it…go for it!

Take it from a single mom who had absolutely no idea how she was going to make any of this happen when she started. 🤍

To every person who has trusted me with their face, sat in my chair, referred a friend, supported my business, laughed with me, cheered me on, and the patients with me from my first day…thank you. Truly. I wouldn’t be here without you.🖤

And a special thank you to my son, Holden, who can now have a private social media account and will 100% be reading his mom’s cringe anniversary post. 😂 You came to my very first injection class with me while you were still in diapers! You’ve been along for all of it by my side. I think it’s finally safe to say…“We made it.” 🤍 I love you. (And yes, I am publicly acknowledging that you have more TikTok followers than me. 🤪)
