❤️ HE TRAVELED 24 HOURS BY BUS FOR THE CHANCE TO EAT OR DRINK WITHOUT PAIN.
When we first met this little boy, something as simple as eating or drinking had become a daily struggle.
Born with a cleft palate, every meal was difficult. Food and liquids would pass through his nose instead of where they belonged.
Still, his family never gave up hope.
His parents traveled 8 hours by bus to bring him to our medical clinic for evaluation. After the appointment, they traveled 8 hours back home—only to make the same 8-hour journey again just a few days later so their son could finally receive the life-changing surgery he had been waiting for.
Twenty-four hours on a bus.
Because they believed hope was waiting at the end of the journey.
❤️ Thanks to supporters like you, it was.
On September 18, our volunteer medical team will return to Ecuador, where more children and families are waiting for that same opportunity.
Today, we're asking for your help.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 before we leave to help provide the medical supplies, medications, equipment, and support needed to make these life-changing surgeries possible.
When you give, you're not simply making a donation.
You're becoming part of a child's story.
You're helping write the next chapter of hope.
If this little boy's story touched your heart, would you consider making a gift, or simply sharing this campaign with your friends and family?
Together, we can continue changing lives...one mission, one surgery, and one person at a time.
Another child is waiting for a chance....
