The Lorain Opportunity and Vocational Center has been out and about enjoying the sunshine and making the most of these beautiful days! ☀️

Our Adult Program participants have been staying active and having fun throughout the community, including flying kites, taking a scenic tram ride through the Lorain County Metro Parks, visiting Lakeview Park, and spending time at Sherod Park. 🛝

One of the highlights was seeing our adult participants embrace their playful side and enjoy the playground, sharing lots of smiles and laughter. 😀

These community connections provide opportunities for recreation, socialization and creating lasting memories. ❤️

🇺🇸 Proud Moments at the Elyria Memorial Day Parade 🇺🇸
Our hearts are full as we reflect on a beautiful day honoring our nation’s heroes in the Elyria Memorial Day Parade. The Murray Ridge Center family was proud to march together—celebrating not only the meaning of this important day, but also the incredible spirit of our community.

From waving flags to sharing smiles along the parade route, our individuals and staff represented Murray Ridge Center with pride, joy, and a deep sense of gratitude. It was truly special to stand alongside fellow community members in remembrance of those who gave so much for our freedom.
We are so thankful for opportunities like this to connect, celebrate, and be seen. Days like today remind us how strong and supportive our Elyria community truly is.

We’re looking for volunteers to walk with us in the Elyria Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m.

By walking together, we’ll show our appreciation and support for the brave men and women who have served our country. This is a meaningful way to honor their sacrifice and be present in our community.
