New Hope Board & Lodge is gathering essential housing items to support individuals in our next step housing. If you are decluttering, downsizing, or replacing your current household goods, your extras can directly transform a blank space into a welcoming home!

We are currently accepting donations of the following items in clean, functional condition:

🍽️ Kitchen Necessities: Pots & pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, silverware, silverware holders, hot pads, and kitchen towels.

🛋️ Living Room Furniture: Coffee tables, end tables, and lamps.

🛏️ Bedroom Items: Nightstands and clothing hangers.

🛁 Bath & Laundry: Shower curtains, plastic liners, bath rugs, dry rugs, hand towels, and laundry baskets.

🎨 Home Decor: Area rugs to make spaces cozy.

No specific aesthetic or color scheme required—I am just looking for things that work! I can easily come pick them up at your convenience.

Please send me a direct message if you have any of these available. Thank you so much! ❤️

Always thankful for our local police.

This week is National Police Week, and here in the City of Mankato, we proudly recognize the dedication and sacrifice of our Public Safety officers. Thank you to all who serve with integrity and commitment to keeping our community safe.

Many people suffering from substance abuse may want to get better, but despite many attempts, nothing seems to be working. But for the people of Steele and Waseca County, there is a chance at a fresh start.
