Join us Friday, September 18 from 9–11 AM as we open our doors to the community in celebration of Assisted Living Week. Stop by for crème brûlée coffee cake, fresh fruit, coffee and refreshments, meet our team, and take a tour of Emerald Oaks.

We enjoyed a relaxing movie day filled with comfort, laughter, and great company. 🎬❤️ Our residents gathered together to watch Walk the Line, while enjoying tasty puff corn and refreshing drinks. It was a wonderful afternoon of reminiscing, relaxing, and sharing the joy of a good movie with friends. Moments like these bring our community together and create memories that warm the heart. 💙

Today was one of those days that reminded us why we love what we do. ❤️ Our staff had so much fun sharing smiles, laughter, and special moments with our amazing residents as we lifted and shook colorful balloons with the parachute. Watching everyone work together, laugh, and simply enjoy the moment was truly heartwarming. It's the little things—time spent together, joyful memories, and genuine connections—that make the biggest difference. We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and to help bring a little extra joy to our residents' day. 🎈🌈💕

Sometimes the best moments come from simply sharing a laugh. ❤️🐵

This month, our residents enjoyed a little "monkeying around" with a fun photo backdrop, and the smiles say it all! Every picture captures more than just a fun pose—it reflects the joy, friendships, and special memories we create together each day.

Blessings come pouring when you least expected it. We at Emerald Oaks Assisted Living would like to thank Kelley, who generously donated a carpet shampooer in memory of her mother Darlene, our former tenant. At Emmetsburg Care Center, every recovery story is a testament to determination and the power of rehabilitation. Following a femur fracture that impacted her mobility and independence, Ruth worked tirelessly with the therapy team to regain her strength, balance, and confidence—ultimately achieving her goal of walking independently once again.
