There’s an Idaho many of us still remember.

An Idaho with orchards, farm land, and wide open country. One with local traditions that bring the whole town out; with people who work hard, look after their neighbors and don't need much fanfare to do the right thing.

That Idaho is still here in Emmett.

And at Meadow View, we believe needing a little more support shouldn’t mean giving up the kind of place that still feels like home.

Our assisted living and memory care community combines the comfort of small-town living with personalized support, and a care team available around the clock.

If your family is beginning to explore senior living, take the drive to Emmett. Come meet our team, see the community, and experience Meadow View for yourself.

The Idaho you know. The care you need.

In honor of World Senior Citizens Day, we are welcoming GO TEAM Therapy Dogs to Meadow View for a special wellness, and companionship visit. Therapy dogs are such great friendly visitors and are a valuable tool in supporting mental and physical well being by helping reduce stress, encourage social connection, and create moments of comfort and joy.

GO TEAM Therapy Dogs was created after 2 therapy teams provided comfort and support to individuals affected by the 2012
Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado. Today, their well-trained therapy and crisis handler/dog teams continue to bring encouragement, and relief to seniors, first responders, and communities in need.

We recently had the joy of celebrating Willabelle’s 100th birthday! 🎉💜

The halls were filled with loved ones as family traveled from near and far to celebrate this incredible milestone, with guests coming from Wendell, Twin Falls, Pine, and even Alabama. There was so much love in the room, and it was especially heartwarming to see so many great-grandchildren running through the halls, filling them with laughter and joy.

It was a beautiful celebration of a life well lived and a century of cherished memories. We are so honored to have shared in such a special day. 🎂❤️

This month, we're proud to recognize William (Bill) H. as our August Resident of the Month.

A fourth-generation Californian, Bill has been creating art since he was just five years old. He spent 32 years as a high school art teacher, inspiring generations of students and leading them to more than 50 state awards and national recognition. Bill’s artwork reflects his lifelong love of American history, particularly the American West. His vibrant paintings feature cowboys, rodeos, Native American
portraits, Civil War history, California missions, and still life images. His talent can even be seen in several large-scale murals—including one stretching 70 feet long—in his hometown. Beyond his artistic achievements, Bill has dedicated much of his life to serving others. He volunteered for decades as a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) coach, mentoring young athletes, remained active in his church, served on his local school board, and contributed to several arts organizations in his community.

Those who know Bill know that his greatest masterpiece isn’t found on canvas, it’s the love he has for his family. A devoted husband, brother, and grandfather, one of our
favorite things about him is how deeply he loves his wife, Lorrie. He often asks for help writing her love letters, a sweet reminder that romance truly has no age limit. Whether he’s sharing stories, admiring flowers and animals, or brightening someone’s day with his sense of humor, Bill brings kindness, creativity, and joy to our Meadow View family. We are honored to celebrate him this month!
