Happy 4 Years, Megan!!

We might just start calling these "belated anniversary spotlights" and pretend it’s intentional! 😆

Megan celebrated 4 years of recovery yesterday, and we definitely aren't going to let this milestone pass without celebrating her!

Megan is a caring and determined CRS who genuinely wants to see people succeed. She’s a strong advocate for her clients and has a way of making people feel safe, accepted, and comfortable enough to really open up. That ability to meet people where they are and make them feel heard is something special.

Four years isn’t only a milestone Megan gets to celebrate — it’s lived experience she now uses to help others believe recovery is possible for them, too. CRSs bring that unique perspective to their work, using their own experiences to build connection, understanding, and hope. Megan brings all of that, along with a whole lot of heart, to the people she serves!

So, fashionably late, help us congratulate Megan on 4 years of recovery! 🥳

As the CRS Supervisor, I would like to formally announce that recovery anniversaries are apparently being celebrated on a slight delay this year due to ... the person responsible for posting them.

It’s me. I’m the person. 🤦‍♀️

So, a few days late, help us celebrate Brittany, who reached FIVE YEARS in recovery on Sunday! 🎉💜

We love celebrating recovery milestones because every year represents so much more than a number. Five years represents countless choices, challenges overcome, growth, perseverance, and continuing to build a life in recovery. Sharing these milestones matters, too, because each one is another reminder to the people we serve and our communities that long-term recovery is real and possible.

Brittany has been able to use her lived experience as a CRS to carry that message of hope to others.

The Facebook post may be late, but FIVE YEARS is absolutely worth celebrating. Congratulations, Brittany! 💜🥳

Now, if you’ll excuse me, the person responsible for posting these has apparently discovered there’s another overdue anniversary post to write. 😂
