September is Vascular Disease Awareness Month.

✨ What Are Varicose Veins? ✨

Leg veins help regulate blood flow from your legs to your heart, thanks to valves that open and close. Varicose veins occur when these valves don’t work properly, causing blood to pool. For many, varicose and spider veins (smaller, surface-level veins) are simply a cosmetic issue. But for others, they can lead to symptoms like fatigue, pain, and even skin ulcers.

💡 Who’s at risk? Women with multiple pregnancies, those with a family history, people with higher weight, or those in jobs where they stand a lot (nurses, teachers) are more likely to experience varicose veins.

🔍 Can they be treated? Yes! Thanks to modern laser technology, non-surgical treatments are quick, effective, and come with minimal downtime. No need for surgery! ✨
