Founded in 2021 in Encinitas, California, our journey began at local farmers' markets and quickly evolved into a mission to bring truly wild sea moss to conscious communities everywhere. We’ve tra
veled across the Caribbean to build direct, personal relationships with small-scale divers who harvest sea moss the right way: no rope farming, no bleach-drying, and no shortcuts. Today, we proudly source from a family-run dive operation in Belize, where sea moss is sustainably harvested from a protected section of the second-largest barrier reef in the world. Our partners leave the holdfasts intact, harvest only 10% at a time, and dive up to 100 feet deep to respectfully gather nature’s gifts. Each jar of Samadhi Moss is made with wild, raw, unpasteurized sea moss that’s rich in minerals and life force. Our offerings reflect a reverence for Earth, ocean, and community, and our presence at Southern California farmers markets, wellness festivals, and high-vibe eateries reinforces that every step of the way. We’re a grassroots business, entirely self-funded and fueled by passion. What we offer is not just a superfood, it’s a movement toward transparency, tradition, and deeply rooted healing.
