Summer is one of the most enjoyable times of the year, but it's also one of the most demanding seasons for your skin. More sun, heat, perspiration, sunscreen, and environmental pollutants can all leave your complexion looking tired if you're not giving it a little extra attention.

A few simple habits can make a world of difference. Stay well hydrated, and make sure you're wearing SPF every day. If you wear makeup, apply sunscreen underneath, or choose a moisturizer with built-in sun protection. If you wear **JSM's Custom Blend Foundation** or **Moisture Tint**, you're already one step ahead—both contain SPF 50, giving your skin excellent daily protection while you look your best.

Another beauty secret that often gets overlooked is sleep. Your skin does much of its repair and renewal while you sleep, making a good night's rest one of the best skincare treatments available. Try to avoid alcohol for two to three hours before bedtime. You clean your makeup brushes, but do you clean your Brush Block?
