Twelve years later, another generation of the family trusts Excel Laser Vision. 🤍

Orion recently had his vision correction procedure with Dr. Moosa at our Encino office, but his family’s story with us actually started more than a decade ago.

His mom, Anat, had her own procedure with us twelve years ago, and now she has returned with Orion for his turn!

Having a former patient trust us with a family member’s vision years later means so much to our entire team.

Thank you, Orion and Anat, for continuing to be part of the Excel Laser Vision family!

Astigmatism occurs when an irregularly shaped cornea prevents light from focusing properly on the retina. LASIK precisely reshapes the cornea, helping light focus more accurately and creating clearer vision. 👁🔬

20/20 is only one way to describe visual sharpness. While 20/20 represents standard distance vision, 20/15 is sharper, while 20/40 means more distance is needed to see the same detail clearly. Understanding the numbers matters! 🙌

"I can see!

I got LASIK with Dr. Moosa after a friend recommended him. The team kept me well informed about each step and made sure I was comfortable. While I was really nervous, Dr. Moosa did everything he could to guide me through the 10 minute procedure. That’s it! 10 minutes for both eyes. I’ve worn glasses or contacts for 30 years.

I am incredibly happy with the results, Dr. Moosa and his team." says Natalie on Google

Modern LASIK uses two specialized lasers with distinct roles. A femtosecond laser creates the precise corneal flap, then the WaveLight EX500 excimer laser reshapes underlying tissue according to your prescription. ⚡🔬
