He is certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. He specializes in spinal surgery that emphasizes minimally invasive techniques. In Dr. Khounganian's practice, every patient is treated as an individual. He'll develop your treatment plan to address your unique problems, whether the most effective course is conservative methods or surgery. Dr. Khounganian will first exhaust all the app

If those options don't offer the best possible results, he'll work closely with you to explore what he can achieve through surgery - which is significantly less invasive with today's precision techniques. Often incisions can be as small as the size of a single Band-Aid. And patients often can go home the same day. One of the biggest lessons medicine teaches you isn’t always about medicine.

It’s how quickly life can change and how important it is to make your health, family, and well-being a priority while you can.

Every successful spine surgery is a true team effort.

From the very first X-ray to the final confirmation images, every step is carefully planned and verified. Throughout this minimally invasive two-level cervical disc replacement (C4-5 & C5-6), real-time fluoroscopic X-ray guidance helps ensure precise implant placement while every member of the operating room team plays a vital role.

Surgeon, anesthesia, surgical technologists, nurses, and imaging specialists all work together with one shared goal: achieving the best possible outcome for our patient.

These final X-rays show the completed two-level cervical disc replacement, restoring stability while preserving motion. Most importantly, they represent another step toward helping a patient return to life with less pain, improved function, and renewed confidence.

Precision. Teamwork. Patient-first care.
