SLEA Therapies Speech Language & Educational Associates Assessment, intervention and parent training programs are available to the pediatric population as well as to adults.

We are proud of the fact that our staff includes speakers of English, Spanish, Hebrew, Armenian, Farsi, Arabic, Yiddish, and Greek. Speech, Language & Educational Associates includes staff that have specialized training in assessment and treatment of speakers whose second language is English. 💜 June is Aphasia & Dysphagia Awareness Month 💙

We use communication and swallowing every day, but for many people, these activities can become challenging after a stroke, brain injury, or other medical condition.

🗣️ Aphasia affects a person's ability to speak, understand, read, or write.

🥄 Dysphagia is a swallowing disorder that can make eating and drinking difficult.

This month, we're helping raise awareness and encouraging understanding of these conditions and the people living with them every day.

At SLEA Therapies, our speech-language pathologists work closely with individuals and families to support communication, safe swallowing, confidence, and quality of life.
