🎶🎤 A Musical Trip Down Memory Lane at ! 🎤🎶

Today, our residents were delighted to welcome back returning musician Rick Sylvester for an afternoon of great music and even greater memories!

Rick entertained the crowd with a wonderful selection of classic American favorites and lively 1950s hits that had toes tapping, hands clapping, and smiles all around. From timeless tunes to nostalgic bops, his performance brought back cherished memories and filled the room with energy and joy.

Thank you, Rick, for another fantastic visit. We always look forward to seeing familiar faces and enjoying the music that brings our community together!

👖💜 Denim for Dementia: Every Friday is Dress Down for Dementia at ! 💜👖

At , we’re proud to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by participating in Dress Down for Dementia (Denim for Dementia) every Friday. Staff members are encouraged to wear their favorite denim while making a donation to help raise awareness and funds for the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

By simply wearing denim, we’re showing support for the millions of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Every donation helps advance care, support, advocacy, and research through the Alzheimer’s Association.

🎉 Successful Discharge: Dale Henry 🎉

Dale Henry was initially admitted to Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation Center a few weeks ago for short-term rehab and nursing services. Upon admission, Dale required minimum assistance from caregivers for self-care tasks and ambulation using a walker.

Through hard work and determination during therapy, Dale made tremendous progress in improving his balance, strength, safety, mobility, and overall ADL performance. Thanks to his dedication and the support of the team, Dale is now able to successfully discharge home to the community with support from his wife. 💙

We are so proud of Dale for reaching his goals and returning home to continue this exciting next chapter. We wish him continued happiness, health, and success! ✨

🌺🍧 A Sweet Island Send-Off for Nursing Home Week! 🍧🌺

To wrap up an amazing Nursing Home Week, the residents and staff at enjoyed a tropical treat from Kona Ice! 🚚🌴 Fresh flavored shaved ice was served right from the colorful catering truck, bringing island vibes and smiles all around. 😎☀️

From Hawaiian shirts and leis to tropical accessories, everyone got into the spirit for this fun-filled celebration! 🌺🍍 It was the perfect way to cool down, celebrate together, and end a fantastic week of memories, laughter, and appreciation. 💙

🎶🌴 Acoustic tunes took all the way to Margaritaville and back! 🌴🎶

Friday at was filled with good vibes, great company, and live acoustic music that had residents and staff singing along and soaking up the tropical spirit! 🎸☀️

From laid-back island favorites to feel-good classics, the music brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping fun throughout the building. It was the perfect soundtrack to an unforgettable Nursing Home Week celebration! 🌺🍹

🍚🥢 Teriyaki & Teamwork! 🥢🍚

As part of last week’s Nursing Home Week celebration, the staff at Parkway Pavilion Health & Rehabilitation Center were treated to a delicious chicken teriyaki with rice lunch prepared by our amazing Food Service Director, Janine! 👩🍳💛

The flavorful meal was a wonderful way to bring everyone together and show appreciation for all the hard work and dedication our staff bring each and every day. From caring hands to full plates, it was a “rice” way to celebrate an incredible team! 🌟

The fun kept rolling at as residents continued celebrating Nursing Home Week with a lively drum circle! 🎶 Residents enjoyed playing bongos, rain sticks, tambourines, maracas, and bells while filling the room with energy, rhythm, and smiles. 🌟

It was a beat-iful day full of music, laughter, and western-themed fun as everyone came together to enjoy the sounds and spirit of the celebration. There’s nothing better than making joyful noise with friends! 🤠🎵

🥁🎶 Rhythm of the West — Drum Circle Fun! (Part 1) 🎶🥁

Residents at had an unforgettable time during our Nursing Home Week drum circle celebration! From bongos and tambourines to maracas and bells, the room was filled with music, laughter, and nonstop fun. 🎵✨

Everyone got into the beat and shared a drum-tastic afternoon making joyful memories together. The sounds of rain sticks and rhythmic tunes brought smiles all around as residents and staff joined together for a toe-tappin’ good time! 🤠🥁
