The Full Sturgeon Moon arrives as summer begins to soften; a beautiful invitation to pause, replenish, and notice the abundance already surrounding you.

This Friday, we’re leaning into the Water + Earth elements for a deeply nourishing sound journey designed to help you soften what you’ve been holding, wash away energetic blockages, and create space to receive.

Surrounded by the sounds of lapping waves, you’ll be lulled into deep relaxation through the vibrations of:

✨ Himalayan + crystal singing bowls
✨ Gong
✨ Zaphir chimes
✨ Panji seeds
✨ Therapeutic sound + intentional stillness

As the sounds wash over you, there’s nothing to accomplish, nowhere to go, and nothing to figure out.

You get to just rest, release, and receive.

🌕 Come celebrate the abundance of late summer and reconnect with the knowing that you are allowed to receive what is meant for you with trust that what is meant for you will never miss you.

Bring your favorite cozy layers, a blanket, pillow, and anything else that helps you feel completely supported. We’ll also have plenty of props at the studio to borrow 🫶🏼

Friday • Sturgeon Full Moon 6-7:30p with Soulscape Reiki + Wellness 🌕

Nature has a way of reminding us who we truly are.

The tree doesn’t resist the wind, it learns to bend.

The river doesn’t quit at every obstacle, it finds another way.

The wind isn’t afraid to change direction at a moments notice.

The earth is soft enough to receive, yet strong enough to support us.

This is exactly why we are so deeply drawn to nature: because it mirrors our own true nature back to us.

We are not separate from the natural world. We are made of the same elements.

🌍 Earth is our body; grounding us, giving us form and stability.

💧 Water is our blood; reminding us to flow, adapt, and move.

🔥 Fire is our spirit; the spark of transformation, vitality, and consciousness within us.

🌬️ Air is our breath; the ever-present bridge between our inner and outer worlds.

This is the essence of Elemental Yoga.

Yoga is not about becoming something new. It’s about remembering what has always been there.

Beneath the noise, the roles we play, and the stories we’ve learned to identify with, there is a Self that is wild, wise, resilient, fluid, rooted, and deeply connected.

Every time we step onto our mat, we have an opportunity to come home to that Self; to listen inward, reconnect with our breath, move with intention, and remember that we are not separate from nature.

We are nature.

So maybe our Yoga practice is simply learning to live like it.

What element do you feel most connected to; earth, water, fire, or air? Share with us below and WHY 🥰🙏🏼

I’ll let you in on a little secret….

We don’t care if you can touch your toes, we don’t care what you’re wearing, we don’t care if you wobble, take Child’s Pose five times, or need to rest.

What we do care about is that you breathe, listen to your body, and leave feeling a little more connected to your Self than when you arrived.

Some of the strongest yogis I’ve ever met aren’t the most flexible, they’re the ones who keep showing up despite their limitations. They choose presence over perfection, curiosity over comparison, and growth over ego.

If you’ve been waiting until you feel “fit enough,” “flexible enough,” or “good enough” to come to class, this is your reminder that you already are 🫶🏼

Can you relate to any of these? Was there a self limiting belief that almost stopped you from trying Yoga?

Share your answer in the comments! You might just encourage someone else to take that first step. And if someone comes to mind who needs this reminder, send it their way 🙏🏼

Today we honor Guru Purnima; a sacred day in the yogic tradition dedicated to expressing gratitude for the teachers, guides, and lineages that illuminate the path before us.

The word guru doesn’t simply mean “teacher.” It comes from the Sanskrit roots gu (darkness) and ru (that which dispels). A guru is one who helps remove the darkness of ignorance and reminds us of the light that has always existed within.

While Yoga teaches that your truest Guru ultimately lives within (the inner Self that knows, witnesses, and guides us), we aren’t meant to walk the path entirely alone.

There is something profoundly transformative about sitting in the presence of someone who has devoted their life to this practice. In yoga, this is known as the transmission of Shakti, or the subtle spiritual energy that can be shared through presence, devotion, and sincere practice. Because the greatest lessons aren’t spoken, they’re felt.

Today is a beautiful day to work with the energy of Guru Purnima by:

-Reflecting on the teachers who have shaped your life
-Expressing gratitude for the wisdom you’ve received
-Spending time in meditation, self-study, or your spiritual practice
-Opening yourself to guidance while remembering to trust the wisdom within

The people who have walked before us remind us of what’s possible. They don’t give us our light, but they help us remember where to find it, and lend us theirs when we’re feeling dim.

Today I’d love to give thanks to my teachers Sarada, Shivaji, and Jaganmati. My life has been changed for the better by your wisdom, presence, and grace. Thank you for seeing yourselves in me and guiding me under your wings. I am endlessly grateful for the knowledge you have bestowed in me. I devote my life to preserving the sanctity of this practice and sharing it with all those willing to learn with an open heart and mind.

Honorable mention for Gaia, as she continues to teach me everything I need to know about, well, everything 🥰

Lets hear from you:

We spend so much of our lives building an identity.

We become the responsible one, the people pleaser, the perfectionist, the high achiever, the strong one, or the caretaker.

At first, these identities help us navigate the world. They protect us and help to give us a sense of belonging.

But over time, the boxes we build for safety can become the very things that keep us from experiencing who we truly are.

Yoga isn’t asking you to become someone new, it’s inviting you to remember who you are.

In yogic philosophy, there’s a beautiful distinction between the self and the Self.

The lowercase self is the version of us shaped by our experiences, our fears, our accomplishments, our labels, and the stories we’ve been told about who we should be. It’s constantly changing.

The capital Self is something much deeper. It is the quiet awareness beneath every thought, every role, every emotion. It is whole, peaceful, and untouched by success or failure. Yoga teaches that this Self has been there all along we’ve simply forgotten how to listen.

Every time you step onto your mat, you practice peeling back another layer. Not to fix yourself, not to become more worthy, but to soften the armor you’ve been carrying long enough to hear the wisdom that already lives within you.

Coming home to your Self isn’t a destination, it’s a remembering.

✨ What parts of your self are you ready to let go of so your true Self has more room to shine? I’d love to hear in the comments 🫶🏼
