Pelvic Health Physical Therapy reminder: if you’ve been told to “just do Kegels” and you’re still leaking, feeling heaviness/pressure, or dealing with pelvic pain… it might not be that you need more squeezing.

I wrote my most recent guest blog for V-Well breaking down why that one-size-fits-all advice can miss the mark, and what signs can hint that your pelvic floor may be overactive (aka needs to learn how to relax + coordinate, not just strengthen).
This is my last blog I’ve written for V-Well to date—hopefully more to come.

Pelvic health nerds🤓, sunshine🌞, and so many belly laughs🤣 at CSM Anaheim 2026.

Back at CSM for the first time in a while and it felt so good to be back. I carved out time to learn from some amazing minds, but the real magic was connecting with pelvic health PTs from all over the country – especially Tracy - and Sheree

I feel so lucky to have spent time with both of them, helping out with Tracy’s company and meeting so many future pelvic health clinicians who are excited about this work.

While I was there, there was plenty of learning, a ton of laughs, new memories, and something really special about being in a room full of people who are out there every day fighting the good fight for pelvic health.

Vulvar itching, tearing, or pain and being told ‘it’s just yeast’? It might be lichen sclerosus and you deserve real answers, not dismissal.

In this blog I wrote for , I walk through symptoms, diagnosis, and why early treatment matters so much. Share this with someone who keeps being told ‘everything looks fine’ when it doesn’t feel fine

✨ Research alert! ✨

Did you know that over 70% of women experience joint pain, muscle loss, and bone density changes during menopause? A groundbreaking review introduces the term "The musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause" to describe these often-overlooked symptoms linked to the loss of estrogen during the menopause transition.

This work by Vonda J. Wright, Jonathan D. Schwartzman, Rafael Itinoche, and Jocelyn Wittstein highlights the urgent need for awareness, prevention, and active treatment to protect quality of life for millions of women worldwide.
