Hey there mamas! You might have seen this floating around but I just wanted to share that we are taking sliding scale births for moms due before 2024, both virtual and in person. We are going to target the Northern New Jersey area but can make exceptions for surrounding areas and situations. The point for doing this, as the owner of TMC, is to provide accessible birthing experiences for mothers that bridge the gap between providers and patients. Personally, this is a time for birth doula recertification for me, so I thought I would use this time to give back by doing what I love, helping women and families. This is just a short explanation but hope this helps!

Giving birth is different everywhere. There are cultural standards and differences that have been practiced for many years amongst the women in different places. It is actually cool to see how women are taken care of in different countries.

What are your practices? Would you adapt any from somewhere else?

Happy Holidays and Cheers to the New Year! Even though this is the most wonderful time of the year, if you are due during this time know the importance of the following and why.
- asking about interventions
- knowing your options
- a well thought out birth plan
- having a doula
- having an advocate and knowing how to advocate for yourself
During this time of year, unnecessary inductions around the holidays have been a theme. Do not fall victim to induction that leads to more interventions and an unplanned, uneeded C Section. If you have any questions or want to know how we can help, get it touch with us.
