This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

At GBV, many of our residents and families carry personal memories of wartime, sacrifice, and loved ones who never made it home. Today is a reminder that freedom has always come at a very human cost.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a quiet moment to reflect with gratitude, remembrance, and respect.

Today, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, and all the women who have nurtured, guided, encouraged, and loved others through every season of life.

Thank you for the countless meals made, rides given, hands held, prayers whispered, lessons taught, and love shared in ways both big and small. Your care has shaped families, friendships, and generations.

St. Patrick's Day Fun!!!!

Our GBV residents enjoyed a fall outing to Nick’s Restaurant in Xenia, complete with good food and even better conversation. Getting out into the community and sharing a meal together never gets old, and this trip was no exception.

Wednesday mornings at GBV mean Bible study, good conversation, and time spent together. It’s a simple but meaningful way to pause midweek, connect in faith, and enjoy community with friends.

Looks like the groundhog called for more winter… so we decided to teach him a lesson.
Our residents enjoyed some homemade “groundhogs” and had a good laugh along the way. Cold weather is a lot easier to handle with a little humor and something sweet to share.
