🔦 Caregiver Spotlight 🔦

We are so excited to welcome Nancy to the Grace Care family!

Nancy is a CNA and Vice President's Scholar (NOC) who is also on her way to becoming a registered nurse — all while being a dedicated wife and mother to two girls. Talk about doing it all!

She got into caregiving because she genuinely enjoys helping others and making a difference in their lives, and her most rewarding moments come from simply knowing she made someone's day a little better. Her favorite quote says it perfectly: "Be the reason someone smiles today."

Outside of work, Nancy loves spending time with her family, going to church, and hanging out with her very unique pet — a Flemish Giant rabbit named Cookie Cuddles!

Her best advice? Treat everyone with kindness and respect. And she'll be the first to tell you she's a quiet person — until she gets to know you!

We are so blessed to have Nancy on our team. Welcome! 🎉

Parkinson's disease can make communication difficult. A rigid face and monotone voice project nonverbal cues that may not line up with what the person with Parkinson's is actually feeling. There are ways to offset these challenges and clarify emotional content and meaning.

🎒 Back to School Bash Recap! 🌟

We were so thankful to host our Back to School Bash for our incredible caregivers and their families!

It was a joy to spend the day together — we served up hot dogs, handed out school supplies to help kids start the year prepared, and sent every child home with a gift card to make the new school year feel extra special.

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. Here's to a wonderful year ahead! 📚✏️

This past week we took a moment to stop by and thank the incredible men and women of our local emergency services — our police officers, firefighters, and EMTs — for the tireless dedication they show our community every single day. These are the people who answer the call at all hours, in every kind of weather, often putting their own safety aside to protect our families and neighbors. Their courage and commitment don't always make headlines, but they make all the difference to the people they serve. We are so grateful for their sacrifice and proud to call them our hometown heroes.
