When you belong to the family, you’re only as young as your soul tells you that you are. We had a truly bountiful scenic drive yesterday- we drove up to Crystal Mountain, came back down and over to Mud Mountain Dam park where we looked at the views, talked about local history, heck, we even had one of our residents go on the zip line (with the caution and assistance of our Life Enrichment Director of course), asked Siri to help us identify some new plants we plan on planting on our grounds, stopped for ice cream and even hit the local fruit stand for juicy Ranier cherries! Being apart of our ALOJ family means no matter how your day starts, it’ll almost always end on a great note.

Summer is almost here! Cheers 🍦 🍒

Today at Assisted Living on Jensen, we came together to honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸
Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day BBQ lunch, followed by a heartfelt performance from one of our very own residents singing in tribute to our veterans and fallen heroes. We were also proud to officially hang our new American flag out front as a symbol of gratitude, remembrance, and patriotism.
Thank you to all who have served and to those who gave everything for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Our Mother's Day BBQ might have been threatened by rain, but it couldn't dampen the spirits of our amazing community here at Assisted Living On Jensen! We reveled in the joy of celebrating all the incredible Mamas among us, thanks to the uplifting live music from our dear friend Roger, Mary's signature margaritas, and a delectable BBQ that shone just as brightly indoors. Hosting events that honor our residents and their loved ones fills our hearts with gratitude, and we're already looking forward to our Father's Day Bluegrass BBQ - stay tuned!
