This hit me hard this morning too.

I think one of the hardest lessons in life is realizing that not everything is ours to fix, carry, explain, or control. People will misunderstand you. They’ll project onto you. They’ll create versions of you in their mind that have nothing to do with who you truly are. And exhausting yourself trying to manage everyone else’s opinions will drain the life right out of you.

Peace comes when you stop abandoning yourself just to make other people comfortable.

I’m learning that my job isn’t to control how others think, feel, or respond to me. My job is to stay rooted in my truth, move with integrity, continue evolving, and let go of the weight that was never mine to carry in the first place.

That kind of freedom changes everything.

And honestly, so much healing begins when we stop trying to control the outside world and start reconnecting with ourselves instead. ✨
