Sadly, today we say goodbye to Ashley who is moving back to New York with her mom. She did the most amazing job as our receptionist. We wish her well with her new chapter but FDC is not happy to let her go. She is a wonderful human being and friend. Love you and Poppy! Thank you for everything you have done for us.

We are on call for two other dental offices. This poor little hockey player broke two teeth on the floor of a swimming pool. He is all patched up and he did a great job.

I had to order special drivers, wrenches, scan bodies to complete this case because the previous,out of town, surgeon used a brand of implants that I wasn’t yet familiar with. Although it doesn’t look like a significant difference, the porcelain was cracking and chipped. Also, he had a purple ring of inflamed tissue that no matter how much he flossed he couldn’t get to heal that was caused from ill fitting custom abutments. We had new custom abutments fabricated and a stronger material zirconia to prevent cracking and breaking in the future. He was a wonderful, very compliant patient that was an avid flosser and nightguard wearer! I couldn’t ask for a better person to work on while we powdered through the challenges of this case.

You know we have the best patients on the planet when one comes in and give everyone a shot of peanut butter tequila!!! And he didn’t even have an appointment!!! Gary is the best!!! Now that we made it to weekend, I’m going to mix a cocktail right now.

This was our second fun case of the day. Aaliyah and I repaired four teeth and Vicki cleaned her while her crowns were in the oven. She was surprised what an improvement was made. Very sweet lady! Good job Aaliyah and Vicki.

This may not look like much but we spent the first two and a half hours of our day doing a molar root canal, placing a post core build up, doing two fillings, fabricating and cementing a crown. He was a wonderful patient and he made our morning smooth sailing. Great job Amanda who assisted the entire time.

Happy 17 year Dental Anniversary to FDC today! And to Christine who decided to leave her job at GE to come and help her daughter sort out the finances and the dental insurance at the office.
