Hurry Hill Maple Farm and Museum trip this week. Always a favorite!

Residents participated in making maple sugar, and they got to sample many other yummy maple products too.

We went for a stroll through the hallways today and snapped some pictures of the beautiful fall doorway decorations. Residents do such a wonderful job decorating so that we all get into the spirit of the season. Resident, Leti Pellizzari, has her display out in the cupola featuring her poem about autumn. So beautiful! Please take the time to read her poem and to look at all the lovely pictures of the decorations. Happy Fall! 🍁🎃

Thanks also to Eric Roache for setting up all our road signs.

It was a beautiful day and we collected five bags of trash and one fender 😆 Our next cleanup will be April of 2027, sometime around Earth Day.

Active Aging Week 2026! Springhill residents fully engaged in Active Aging Week this year by completing a triathlon. They had to achieve at least 3 of the following goals this week: Attend at least 1 exercise class, ride on the Nu-Step bike for a total of 60 minutes, use the pool at least 1 time and 2 hours of total walk time around campus and/or the treadmill. We had so much participation! An awards ceremony will take place at a later date to present each resident with a special Active Aging Week triathlon t-shirt. The design for the t-shirt is below. Thank you to everyone who gave it their all and congratulations to those residents who completed their triathlon! 🚶🏊🏻🚲🥊

What a perfect day for an autumn train ride along Oil Creek and through Oil Creek State Park, the birth place of the oil industry! Residents sat in first class and had a tour guide tell them all about the region and history. A nice relaxing ride on a gorgeous fall day. 🛤️🚂🍁

Tomorrow is the big day! Below is a summary of some of the items that will be available for sale at the Springhill Artisan Craft Fair tomorrow from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. And much much more! Bring plenty of cash! Some vendors may take cards, but most won't. We will see you all tomorrow! Thank you in advance for your support of our craft fair and our benevolent care fund! 🍁
