Can we be honest? I break the rules.
Not because I’m a rebel. Well, I can be. But this doesn’t apply here.
When it’s time to “turn, flip, roll over” during a massage I turn my back.
Not because I’m not confident in holding the sheet but because I once was a client receiving and felt self-conscious and exposed.
Maybe it’s a response, maybe not. But I think about these things and find it important.
As we don’t look at you. We look away but I still don’t feel comfortable with it.
So to ensure you feel & comfortable from beginning to end, I turn my back and face the wall until you’re settled and ready.
How do you feel as a client when receiving a ?
Do you feel exposed, unsafe, or uncomfortable?
Maybe you don’t care, and that’s okay too. But I’m still going to do it. 🙂
