Father's Day can bring a mix of emotions for those who are grieving the loss of a father, grandfather, husband, son, or another important father figure. While many families celebrate the day, others may find themselves reflecting on memories and feeling the absence of someone they love.

There is no right or wrong way to experience grief during holidays and special occasions. Whether you choose to gather with family, share stories, visit a meaningful place, or simply take time for quiet reflection, honoring those feelings is an important part of the journey.

If Father's Day feels a little different this year, know that you are not alone.

We had such a wonderful morning at the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center! 💜

Angela and Calissta spent time with members creating beautiful resin jewelry, sharing laughs, enjoying delicious charcuterie snack boxes from Brooke Riddle with Rooted in Grace Desserts and Savory, and making new memories together.

The creativity in the room was inspiring, and hearing participants say it was their favorite craft activity yet made the day even more special. We were especially grateful to have our youngest little friend back again, who proudly made a kitty cat keychain and quickly became our official helper for the morning!

Community is built through moments like these, and we are honored to spend time with the wonderful members of the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to the next visit!
