Fall is full of peaceful moments. 🍂

But if your ears are ringing, buzzing, or humming through all that calm, it’s probably fair to say that your tinnitus is getting in the way of your happiness.

Pushing through it isn't the only option. 😓 We have tools and therapies that can help soften the noise and bring the peace and quiet back. Give us a call at 906-553-4090 today!

Earwax gets a bad reputation, but it’s actually your ear’s built‑in cleaning system. The trouble starts when it builds up, blocks sound or causes that “plugged” feeling.

If you’ve been using cotton swabs, please please please skip them! They aren’t actually that great at removing the wax. Most of the time, they just push it further in. And that’s how blockages, muffled hearing, and even ear pain starts. 🥴

If you use swabs for the outer ear only, that’s fine… just never inside the canal. For anything more, a quick, safe cleaning in the clinic is always the better move!

One of our favorite moments in the clinic is when someone hears a sound they forgot existed. Little things, like turn signals, a fridge humming, or their pet’s tiny footsteps. ☺️💗It’s a small thing, but it’s the kind of moment that makes life feel full again.

What small sound would you miss most if it went away?

Meet the team at Haas Hearing! We asked everyone one simple question:
“What sound makes you the happiest?”

Here’s what they said:

Dr. Haas: "Thunder."
Brittney: “My children's laughter.”
Kim: “The water running over the rocks in the river.”
Nikki: “Birds singing.”

Hearing is all about connection and joy. Do you need help finding more connection in your daily life? We are here to help! 💕

August 15 is National Relaxation Day! 🧘‍♀️

Some of the most calming moments in life come with a soothing sound attached (think: ocean waves, rain, total silence). Sound really does have a way of helping us slow down.

But if you live with tinnitus, that ringing or buzzing doesn't take a day off, even when everything else is calm. Relaxation gets a lot harder when your ears won't quiet down.

As an audiologist at Haas Hearing, we help people manage tinnitus so it stops running the show, especially in the moments that are supposed to feel peaceful.

If tinnitus has been getting between you and your calm, reach out. Let's find a way to help you actually unwind again.

Cats. Dogs. Birds. Bunnies. You name it, we’ve heard it. 😂 And somehow, it always happens on the ONE day you forget to put your hearing aids in their case, right?

If your furry (or feathered) friend turned your hearing aid into a snack, here’s what we can do:
🐾 We’ll take a look and see if we can fix it right here in the clinic.
🐾 If it needs more help, we’ll send it to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, depending on the damage and warranty.
🐾 If your device is older and out of warranty, we’ll give you honest guidance on your options.

Our job is to give you choices. Your job is to pick what best fits your life!
