Pregnancy is a great time to prioritize your health—and your baby's. To***co and ni****ne use during pregnancy, including ci******es, vapes, and other ni****ne products, can increase the risk of pregnancy complications, premature birth, low birth weight, and can affect a baby's developing brain and lungs.

Quitting at any point during pregnancy can improve health outcomes for both you and your baby. If you or someone you know is pregnant and needs support to quit, talk with a healthcare provider or connect with the Michigan To***co Quitlink for free, confidential resources and coaching.

Every step toward quitting is a step toward a healthier future for you and your baby.

💧 Is your home's plumbing free of lead? If you're not sure, using a lead-reducing water filter can help protect your family.
Since 2014, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has recommended using a lead-reducing water filter if your home's plumbing is unknown to contain lead or is believed to contain lead.

Eligible Michigan households may be able to receive a free water filter through the Statewide Filter Support Program.
