Living for the approval of others is exhausting—and impossible. No matter how hard you try, someone will misunderstand, critique, or disagree with you.

Instead of worrying about what people think, look to Jesus. His Word defines your worth. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you, and He'll always show you the right choices to make.

Most Christians think the gospel means God fixed them.

Like by receiving Jesus you are now…

Patched up.
Improved in your behavior.
Made into a slightly better human.

But that’s not what the gospel says.

Scripture never says you were improved.

It says something far more radical.

You were recreated.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

God didn’t polish the old you.

He ended the old you.

The person who was defined by sin, shame, and trying harder…

was crucified with Christ.

And in its place?

God created an entirely new you.

Not repaired.
Not upgraded.
Not spiritually renovated.

New.

Which means the Christian life isn’t about trying to become someone better.

It’s about learning to live from who you already became.

Religion says:
“Work on yourself.”

Grace says:
“Discover who you are.”

And when you do…

You finally step off the merry-go-round
and can go on with your life, resting in what Christ did.

Romans 5:17
“Those who receive
abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”

Why can believers reign?

Because Christ’s life is within them.

Go ahead—let His life teach you to reign in your life here on earth.
