Creativity was in full bloom at Vista Del Lago as residents transformed simple cat silhouettes into colorful works of art using an assortment of buttons! 🐱🎨

Each unique creation reflected its artist’s personality while encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression. The activity also sparked wonderful conversations, laughter, and storytelling as residents shared ideas and admired one another’s designs.

It’s always amazing to see how a simple craft can bring so much joy, connection, and creativity to our community. 💙

🌈👕 Tie-dye day was a colorful success at Vista Del Lago!

Our residents had a wonderful time creating their own vibrant tie-dye T-shirts in preparation for next week’s Route 66-themed dinner. Each shirt was as unique as the person who made it, and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of creativity.

We can’t wait to see everyone proudly wearing their colorful creations as we travel down memory lane during our Route 66 celebration. It’s activities like these that bring people together, spark creativity, and create lasting memories.

🐱🎨 Creativity was in full bloom at Vista Del Lago as our residents enjoyed a delightful button cat art activity!

Using colorful buttons of all shapes, sizes, and patterns, each resident transformed a simple cat silhouette into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. This hands-on craft encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and provided a wonderful opportunity for self-expression.

The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and storytelling as residents admired one another’s unique creations and shared memories inspired by their artistic designs. It’s amazing how a simple activity can spark joy, connection, and creativity.

Our residents had a wonderful time creating beautiful patriotic wreaths, and it was so much fun to see everyone’s creativity and artistic talents shine. What a wonderful Father’s Day celebration at Vista Del Lago Memory Care! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Father’s Day Brunch. Our team stayed busy grilling delicious hamburgers and hot dogs while residents, families, and guests enjoyed our famous potato salad, refreshing iced tea, and a beautiful afternoon together.

At Vista Del Lago Memory Care, moments like these are especially meaningful. Our Memorial Day celebration at Vista Del Lago was a wonderful success! Residents gathered on the patio to enjoy a warm afternoon filled with great food, friendly conversation, and community spirit.

The BBQ brought everyone outdoors to celebrate the holiday together, featuring classic favorites and plenty of time to relax, connect, and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was a great opportunity for neighbors to come together and share in the festive atmosphere.

This Friday, our residents enjoyed a spring-inspired craft: the May Flower Garden Suncatcher. This sensory, creative project celebrated the beauty of blooming flowers while allowing residents of all ability levels to participate successfully.

Residents used precut tissue paper and self-adhesive sheets to design their own colorful flowers, guided by a hand-drawn daisy outline. With real flowers placed on each table for inspiration, everyone had the opportunity to explore color choices and textures by crumpling and placing tissue paper to create vibrant, personalized designs.

As the activity unfolded, meaningful conversations blossomed. Residents shared memories and reflections prompted by questions like:
“What was your favorite flower as a child?”
“Did you enjoy gardening?”

A special thank you to Laura from Hospice of North Coast for leading this thoughtful and engaging activity with our Vista Del Lago residents. It was a wonderful way to welcome the month of May with creativity, connection, and joy.

Thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us for our Mother’s Day Brunch celebration! 🌸💐

We were so delighted to share this special day together filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories. Live harp music by the talented Naomi Alter created a warm and elegant atmosphere that made the occasion even more special. 🎶✨

Guests enjoyed a delicious menu featuring salmon, fresh spring salad, creamy mashed potatoes, and decadent chocolate cake for dessert paired with sparkling Martinelli’s apple cider. 🍰🥂

We truly appreciate everyone who attended and helped make this Mother’s Day celebration so memorable for our residents, families, and team. 💕
