Guys . . I've been MIA. Not because I'm on a secret spy mission, or out doing fun things - my cough turned out to be bronchitis and completely knocked me on my rear end!!

I gave my body time to rest and a few rounds of antibiotics later - I’m finally starting to feel like myself again! I'm working my way through unanswered texts, emails and FB messages as quickly as I can. Thank you for your patience!

Now for some overdue class photos! These are from our Christmas in July class at Holy Angels in St. Albans on July 18th. Ironically, it wasn’t all that Christmasy—everyone except one painter chose non-Christmas designs! 😄

Everyone did an amazing job, there were lots of laughs, and a great time was had by all. ❤️

I can’t wait to come back to Holy Angels again sometime soon. Thanks to everyone who joined me!

Not every class is all singing, dancing, and paint-covered shenanigans. 😊

Today was one of those days where the instructor wasn’t feeling 100%, a couple of projects fought back, and a few barn quilts took the scenic route to the finish line.

But here’s the thing I love about this group: nobody gave up.

Barn quilts are a lot like life — sometimes they come together exactly as planned, and sometimes you have to pivot halfway through and make a new plan. Either way, you keep painting.

Thanks to today’s crew for rolling with the punches and reminding me that perfection isn’t the goal. Creating something with your own hands is.

Today’s class had a little bit of everything — husbands and wives, mothers and daughters, and even a few brave men joining the fun! There was paint on faces, tape stuck to everything (and everyone), and enough singing to make the whole room smile.

What I love most is that no two boards are ever the same. Every participant brought their own creativity, personality, and style, and the results were absolutely incredible. From the first piece of tape to the peel of tape, everyone created something they can be proud of.

A fantastic day filled with laughter, friendship, creativity, and LOTS of singing. Thank you all for bringing such great energy and making Barn Quilt Therapy feel less like a class and more like a gathering of friends.

Day 3 at The Vermont Quilt Show - the vibe was absolutely ELECTRIC! ⚡️

We had people dancing in the hallways, singing loud enough that the check-in table could hear us, and a steady stream of visitors stopping by to comment on the energy, laughter, and fun happening in our little corner.

These ladies brought the enthusiasm, I brought the supplies, and together we created some beautiful barn quilts! 🎨❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Barn Quilt Therapy. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, sharing my posts, attending classes, or painting right alongside me, I am truly grateful for your encouragement and support. It means more than you know.
