There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to musculoskeletal care.

In Healthcare Business Today, ATI Chief Clinical and Strategy Officer Dr. Chuck Thigpen sares an important reminder that while social media can be a helpful starting point for learning, real care should be guided by clinical expertise, individualized evaluation, and a plan that evolves with the patient.

That is what helps turn information into meaningful progress.

A physical therapy visit became a lifesaving moment.

When patient Monique Glass arrived feeling unusually unwell, ATI Clinic Director Ashlyn Wallace recognized the warning signs and immediately urged her to seek emergency medical care.

That decision saved her life.

Monique was diagnosed with an acute pulmonary embolism and multiple blood clots. Ashlyn's clinical expertise, quick action, and commitment to putting her patient first made all the difference.

At ATI, care goes beyond rehabilitation. It's about recognizing when every second counts.

A strong season starts before the first game.

ATI athletic trainers help student athletes prepare for the moments that matter through injury prevention, movement monitoring, sideline injury response, recovery guidance, and return-to-play support.

When athletes, parents, and coaches have the right support in place, small issues are less likely to become bigger setbacks.

From UCL and rotator cuff injuries to oblique and hamstring strains, recognizing early warning signs can help athletes seek care before minor discomfort becomes a season-ending problem.

Explore the most common baseball injuries and learn how proper mechanics, recovery, and physical therapy can help athletes stay in the game:

April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month!

ATI is speaking up about Parkinson's disease and to move others to take action toward a healthier lifestyle by improving movement and balance.

The LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) Programs for individuals with PD have been developed and researched over the past 20 years beginning with a focus on the speech motor system (LSVT LOUD) and more recently have been extended to address limb motor systems (LSVT BIG).

LSVT BIG is a program that trains people with Parkinson disease (PD) to use their body more normally. People living with PD or other neurological conditions often move differently, with gestures and actions that become smaller and slower. The treatment improves walking, self-care and other tasks by helping people “recalibrate” how they perceive their movements with what others actually see. It also teaches them how and when to apply extra effort to produce bigger motions.

Call ATI Physical Therapy to make an appointment if you want to learn more or be treated by a LSVT certified therapist for Parkinson’s Disease treatment .
