🌟 Big News from Estherville Community Care Center! 🌟

We are thrilled to share an exciting milestone with our residents, families, staff, and the entire Estherville community!

Over the last 3 years & being under new ownership this past year, our team has worked tirelessly to transform Estherville Community Care Center. Together, we have focused on improving every aspect of our facility, strengthening the quality of care we provide, and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the residents and community we are privileged to serve.

Today, we are proud to announce that for the first time in our history, Estherville Community Care Center has achieved a 3-Star Overall Rating!

This accomplishment represents so much more than a rating. It reflects the dedication, compassion, and hard work of every employee who comes through our doors each day with one goal in mind: providing exceptional care and creating a place our residents are proud to call home.

To our staff—thank you for your commitment, resilience, and heart. To our residents and their families—thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be part of your lives. And to our community—thank you for your continued support as we invest in making Estherville Community Care Center stronger every day.

While we are incredibly proud to celebrate this achievement, we know our work isn’t finished. This milestone motivates us to keep improving, keep growing, and continue raising the bar for the care and services we provide.

Thank you for celebrating this exciting moment with us. Here’s to continuing our journey together!

⬇️ ‼️ Patient testimonial ‼️⬇️
I came to the Estherville Community Care Center after breaking my femur in a fall. Most people have another good leg to help them get around so they can recuperate at home, but, due to having polio when I was a baby, my other leg is paralyzed and in a brace. I couldn't even stand up when I got there.
The hoyer lift had to be used to move me around for awhile and then I graduated to the EZ stand. While I was waiting to put weight on my leg, the therapy staff kept me busy with activities to strengthen my arms. When I could finally start putting some weight on my leg, Levi and Jake helped me pull myself up on the parallel bars. When I could put more weight on my leg, they got me up on the walker and I could start walking a little. They hung onto me with the belt and pulled the wheelchair behind me if I needed to take a sit-down break. It got easier day by day until they leg me go down the hall without hanging onto me. I think Jake measured 120 feet one day.
On April 7th, I got to try walking with my crutches with one of them holding onto the belt around me. I'm very grateful that they let me use my crutches because I've used them all my life and I'm very comfortable on them. First, I started walking around the therapy room, but then they had me start walking down the hall and I increased my distance as I could tolerate. I walked with my crutches during the rest of my stay there, making it all the way down the hall many times, and finally to the nurses' station on one of my last days there. The last week, I was given independence in my room and I could use the bathroom on my own and walk around my room whenever I wanted. It was great and it helped me get closer to going home.
While Levi, Jake, Sandy and Blake were working hard to get me to walk again and practice doing things similar to what I would be doing at home, the rest of the staff were taking care of my other needs--they brought my meds, took care of my bathroom needs, cleaned my room, fed me, fixed my TV more than once, and cheered me on when they would see me walking down the hall.
Each and every one of you had a part in my recovery and I'm very grateful to all of you. It was fun getting to know everybody who helped me along the way and everybody was very patient when dealing with my issues. You are all amazing incredible people.
I've been home about 6 weeks now and it's been wonderful. I'm back to doing pretty much everything I was doing before, only on my crutches. It's so great to be able to walk. When this all started, I didn't know if I'd be able to walk again or not.
Thank you and God Bless each and every one of you.

As Nursing Home Week comes to a close, we want to extend our continued gratitude and appreciation to every member of our team. This week gave us the opportunity to celebrate not only the hard work you do, but the compassion, dedication, and heart you bring to our residents every single day.

Throughout the week, we enjoyed coming together as a team with activities such as Sports Day, we were a facility divided and it was some fun competition, we had a Beach Day, Casual Day, and we are ending the week with the management team grilling for the staff today as a small token of appreciation.

Thank you for all that you do — not just during Nursing Home Week, but every day throughout the year. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and our residents, families, and leadership team are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for the care you provide to our residents and for the positive impact you make within our facility. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all that you do.

To show our appreciation yesterday, we enjoyed celebrating together with pizza and had some fun twinning with each other! It was wonderful to see everyone participating, laughing, and making memories as a team.
