In Loving Memory of Jennifer W. Dawkins

Some people pass through this world and leave footprints. Others leave an impression so deep that their influence continues long after their earthly journey has ended. Jennifer Dawkins was a woman whose life touched many hearts, whose hands served many people, and whose music created memories that will never be forgotten

When God created Jennifer, He blessed her with three extraordinary gifts: the hands of a nurse, the heart of a servant, and the soul of a musician.

The Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home prays God’s comfort over her family. We pray that God grants them peace, and reminds them that love never truly ends. Please keep the family lifted in prayer as they adjust to life without the precious presence of their loved one. 🕊️

🕊️In Loving Memory of Missionary Annie Jane Cylear

Mother Annie Jane Cylear life living taught us that a godly legacy is not measured simply by our personal faith but by what she left in the hearts of others. The prayers she prayed, the encouragement she gave, the love she shared, and the faith she demonstrated will continue speaking even though her earthly voice has become still.

If she showed you how to pray, keep praying. If her life living taught you to trust God, keep trusting Him. If she demonstrated to you how to love others, keep loving one another. If her life pointed you toward Christ, don’t allow her labor to go in vain.

Rest well, Mother Cylear. You have served mankind as a missionary. You kept the faith. And the life you lived will continue speaking for generations yet to come.

The Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home prays God’s comfort over her family. We pray that God grants them peace, and reminds them that love never truly ends. Please keep the family lifted in prayer as they adjust to life without the precious presence of their loved one. 🕊️

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Jeremiah Sanders, AKA “JR”

As we gather to celebrate an individual with a beautiful spirit our hearts are heavy because we are celebrating a life that, though far too short, was filled with purpose, passion, and love. Some people leave behind accomplishments. Others leave behind possessions. But this young soul leaves behind something even greater, a melody that will continue to echo in the hearts of everyone who knew them.

Music was more than a hobby; it was a gift. It was the way he expressed joy, hope, creativity, and emotions. Through every song, every beat, and every note, he shared a part of himself with the world.

But even greater than his love for music was his love for people. He had a way of making others feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated. His smile, laughter, kindness, and caring heart touched family, friends, and everyone blessed enough to cross his path.

Although his family is struggling to understand why a life so full of promise was taken so soon, we can be grateful that God allowed us the privilege of knowing him. His years may have been few, but his influence was great. He taught us that life isn’t measured only by its length but by the love we give and the lives we touch.

The Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home prays God’s comfort over his family. We pray that God grants them peace, and reminds them that love never truly ends. Please keep the Sanders family lifted in prayer as they adjust to life without the precious presence of their loved one. 🕊️

🕊️ Celebrating the Life of Shirley Green

Matthew 25:21 — “Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”

The Management and Staff of Martin Funeral Home honor and celebrate the life of Shirley Green which was a life marked by commitment, strength, and faith.

She served as a correctional officer which was a role that often goes unseen and unrecognized, yet requires courage, discipline, patience, and character. Day after day, she showed up to maintain order, protect others, and carry responsibilities many people never fully understand. That work takes strength, but it also takes heart.

But beyond the uniform and title was a person of faith. As a faithful church member, Shirley understood that service did not end when the service ended. She gave of her time, presence, and example. She lived with a belief that faith is not only spoken, it is lived.

Today we remember not only the years she worked, but the values she carried, faithfulness, perseverance, humility, and dedication. Her life reminds us that greatness is often found in consistency: showing up, serving others, and remaining faithful through every season. May we honor her memory by living with the same integrity, serving with the same dedication, showing love to everyone, and walking with the same faith.

Please keep the Green family members in prayer because life will never be the same without Shirley’s physical presence. We know that her memory will live on in the hearts of those loved ones and friends that she leaves behind.

🕊️ Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Sarah Jane Williams

Today we gather to honor a woman whose life was rooted in faith, love, and service. She was more than a member of the church — she was truly a mother of the church. She prayed for others, encouraged the weary, comforted the brokenhearted, and stood as a spiritual pillar for her family and community.

A woman like this leaves footprints that cannot be erased. Her kindness was felt in quiet moments, her wisdom was heard in conversations filled with grace, and her faith was seen in the way she lived every single day. She did not simply talk about God — she walked with Him. Through trials and triumphs, she trusted Him, served Him, and pointed others toward Him.

Many people can testify that she was someone you could call when you needed prayer, guidance, or simply a listening ear. She carried herself with dignity, compassion, and strength. Her presence in the church was steady and reassuring — a light that helped guide generations.

While our hearts grieve today, we can also rejoice in the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. The prayers she prayed, the lives she touched, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave will continue to live on through her children, her church family, and everyone blessed to know her.

Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Those words describe her life well. She kept the faith. And now, we trust that she rests peacefully in the presence of the Lord she served so faithfully.

May we honor her not only with our words today, but by carrying forward the love, faith, and compassion she showed to so many.

Please keep the Williams family members in prayer because life will never be the same without Elizabeth’s physical presence. We know that her memory will live on in the hearts of those loved ones and friends that she leaves behind.
