The 3 biggest mistakes beginners make in their first month of yoga and how to avoid all of them.

Save this. You'll want it.

1. Waiting until you're "ready."
2. Quitting after one uncomfortable class.
3. Thinking flexibility is the goal.

None of this has to be complicated. Show up before you're ready. Stay past the uncomfortable part. Stop chasing flexibility and start chasing consistency.

Most people quit yoga before it starts working.

Here’s what actually happens:

Week 1: It feels awkward. You’re unsure, unsteady, overthinking everything.
Week 2: Your body wakes up. Soreness shows up. Awareness kicks in.
Week 3: Something shifts. You stop fighting it and start feeling it.
