🌟 Employee Spotlight (And a See You Later): Izzy 🌟

Izzy is a lifelong resident of Eufaula. She is an Auburn University graduate and has been with Eufaula Physical Therapy for the last four months. During her time at the clinic, she has gained valuable hands-on experience as a tech, assisting with treatments and providing overall clinic support.

We are also saying goodbye as today is Izzy’s last day here at Eufaula Physical Therapy. She is about to begin the next chapter of her journey as she begins Occupational Therapy school in August at Alabama State University.

We are so excited for her and wish her nothing but the best as she continues working toward her goals!

A special thank you to Mrs. Verna for helping us celebrate Izzy today by bringing us her delicious tomato pie and salad for lunch. We are so grateful for thoughtful patients like Mrs. Verna who make our clinic feel like family! 🍅🥗

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Tamara 🌟

Tamara has been with Eufaula Physical Therapy since we first opened our doors in 2016 and has been an important part of our team ever since.

She lives here in Eufaula with her husband, Karl. Together, they have three adult children: Maddox, Riley, and Sydney Claire.

Tamara has a heartfelt passion for helping our geriatric and balance patients regain strength, improve confidence, and maintain their independence. Her compassion, patience, and encouragement make a lasting impact on those she treats, and it's no surprise that her patients adore her.

One thing everyone agrees on is that Tamara brings a lot of positivity and laughter into the clinic. Her upbeat attitude and sense of humor brighten the day of both patients and staff, and she has a way of making even the toughest therapy sessions a little easier (and a lot more fun).

When asked what she loves most about her work, Tamara says, "I love changing lives for the better and seeing patients accomplish their goals."

When she's not at the clinic, you'll likely find Tamara horseback riding or spending time with her family on the lake.

We are thankful for the dedication, kindness, and positive attitude Tamara brings to our patients and our team every day!

As we wrap up Hand Therapy Week, we want to take a moment to recognize Laurie! 🥳🎊

Most of you know her as your physical therapist, a friend, or a familiar face around town. What you may not know is that Laurie is also a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), with specialized training in treating hand and upper extremity injuries.

Becoming a Certified Hand Therapist requires thousands of hours of specialized clinical experience, extensive continuing education, and passing a rigorous certification exam. It is one of the highest credentials in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, and we are incredibly fortunate to have that level of expertise right here in Eufaula!

With more than 15 years of experience, Laurie has helped countless patients recover after surgery, return to work, and regain the ability to do everyday activities without pain. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and experience to our community, and we are so proud of her! 👏 🤩 🎉🙌

On Monday, we had the honor of celebrating Mr. Beauford's 100th visit with us at Eufaula Physical Therapy! 🥳🎉🎊

Since first coming to us last August, Mr. Beauford has faced challenges with incredible strength and determination. Through it all, he continues to show up with kindness, optimism, and a smile on his face every single visit. His positive attitude is contagious, and he brings so much joy to our staff.

Happy 100th visit, Mr. Beauford! You truly inspire us and we are so grateful to be a part of your journey! 💙

We were thrilled to welcome Youth Leadership Barbour this morning!

They spent some time with Katie gaining insight into post-operative physical therapy and the important role it plays in recovery, then joined Mrs. Laurie for a demonstration of dry needling with e-stim, giving them a hands-on look at innovative treatment techniques.

It’s always a pleasure to connect with this group, and we truly enjoy investing time in our future leaders! 🌟
