My dad, Dave, has always had a heart for helping others.
Through his work as a Senior Living Advisor with Willamette Valley Resources & Referrals, he has dedicated himself to helping seniors and their families through some of the most difficult and uncertain transitions of their lives. He has always been the person who steps in, finds a solution, offers encouragement, and makes sure families know they aren’t facing these challenges alone.
Recently, our family unexpectedly found ourselves on the other side of that journey when my dad suffered a stroke.
Thankfully, he received prompt medical attention, and in true Dave fashion, he is facing his recovery with strength and determination. He is now working through rehabilitation and making progress, but we also know this will be a journey. The road ahead will include continued therapy, rehabilitation, recovery, and potentially a transition into a supportive living environment while he works toward becoming as strong and independent as possible.
My dad has spent so much of his life helping other people find the care, resources, and support they need. Now, we have an opportunity to do the same for him.
Our family loves him deeply and will continue doing everything we can to make sure he receives the best possible care. We have created this GoFundMe for those who would like to come alongside him and help with the unexpected expenses associated with his recovery, rehabilitation, and the next chapter ahead.
