This Saturday, Creative Spirit Collaborative is hosting a day-retreat in the forest at LL Stub Steward State Park to help you refill your own cup. We’ll move through somatic grounding and release, time with the land, expanded awareness and spirit-based support, and creating with natural materials, all held in a reflective circle of community.

🌲 Forest Healing: a day-retreat into healing & nature with Creative Spirit Collaborative🌲

Creative Spirit Collaborative is hosting a day-retreat on Saturday, 10/24, from 11am to 3pm at LL Stub Stewart State Park (about 45 minutes west of Portland). It’s designed so those who nurture others can refill their own cup, held within the quiet of the forest.

Healing practitioners, nurses, doctors, therapists, bodyworkers, and other helping professionals are welcome to join us for free. 💛

Meet Ana Bradley ~ one of CSC's newest Associate Therapist & Nature-Awareness Coach

Over the past two decades, Ana has dedicated her life’s work to guiding others in developing healthy, functional relationships with themselves, others, and the environment. As the co-founder of Whole Earth Nature School, she has had the distinct honor of working with thousands of youth and adults while developing a relationally centered, trauma-informed educational model that accommodates the diversity of learning styles and brain development. Upon further exploration, Ana learned about the evidence-based practice of adventure and nature-based counseling and enrolled in a Master’s program in 2022.

As a Nature-based therapist, Ana offers you the unique opportunity to step out of the “office” and into nature for your sessions. Nature then becomes a co-therapist, supporting us by providing elements of holding, allowing, witnessing, challenging, and co-regulation. Adventure Therapy offers a more holistic approach than traditional “talk” psychotherapy. She will offer a variety of activities and somatic explorations to engage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This holistic approach supports functional changes that are aligned with your unique needs and goals for growth and change.

If you feel overwhelmed with information overload and the greater state of the world, know that you’re not alone. This is so big that we need to take it in and process it collectively.

We’ve created a container where we can verbally and somatically process this collective overwhelm, with space for witnessed healing rather than action-oriented solutions. These virtual experiences (and eventually in-person groups!) will include ritual support, heart-centered sharing and reflection, and somatic practices for nervous system regulation. Space is limited and it’s completely free to join us on Zoom.

Migration carries so many layers. Each story is unique. It can hold moments of loss, uncertainty, and transition… as well as strength, resilience, and hope.

There are the visible changes and one's that often go unnoticed. The impact that lives on in the body, in memory, in identity.

What you’ve navigated, what you’ve left, what you’re still holding... it all matters.

There’s a lot happening in the world right now. As an empathetic person, you may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, angry, or numb.

For many of us, we can't just tune out what's happening all around us. It affects us physically and emotionally. You may be feeling physical tension, racing thoughts, having trouble sleeping and more.

If your nervous system feels overwhelmed, it makes sense.
If you’re feeling more on edge, more tired, more inward — you’re not alone in that.
Nothing about this means something is wrong with you.
Your body and nervous system is responding the best way it knows how.

We hold a lot of care for this at CSC. For how much people are carrying, often without it being visible. At CSC, we try to meet these moments with gentleness, slowness, and respect for each person’s experience allowing the nervous system to feel safety in small moments.
