Throwback Thursday: Standing tall through time 🏛️✨✨
From hosting icons like Eleanor Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Jayne Mansfield, Michael Douglas, Emmylou Harris, and Jimmy Buffett (and more!) — to welcoming back the Oregon Webfoots as they celebrated the first (literally ever!) men’s basketball NCAA tournament championship win back in 1939 🏀 — the Eugene Hotel building has long been woven into the fabric of our community. We’re honored to share the same space as those who came before us.

Where Serious Players Train 💪

This is where the real work happens!

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! You juggle a thousand details and solve our problems before they exist. We love you endlessly feeding us (Brisa), entertaining us with your quick wit (Trina), keeping us up to date on all things Taylor Swift (Katie), and being our voice of reason and our listening ear (Nicole). Today, and every day, we love and appreciate you! 🫶

Did you know we offer cash-based performance and movement assessments for clients who may not have pain or insurance coverage but still want to optimize their movement, performance, or prevent injury? Check out our website (link in bio! 🔗) to see what else we offer 🤔
Featuring PT’s Sam + Matt, we’re highlighting Return to Sport (RTS) Functional Testing, a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate an athlete’s readiness to safely return to sport.
We perform both our Tensegrity standard RTS Test, designed in collaboration with industry leaders, and other specific protocols provided by external providers.
While typically performed after a lower body injury, upper body injuries may also be assessed with testing modifications. Testing occurs at various stages during injury rehabilitation once basic strength and mobility are restored.
Both surgical and non-surgical conditions can utilize RTS testing to identify training needs.
Why RTS Testing Matters
🔸Reduces risk of re-injury
🔸Guides safe progression back to practice and competition
🔸Provides objective data for athletes, coaches, physicians, and trainers, etc.
🔸Helps restore athlete confidence and readiness
What RTS Testing Evaluates
🔸Strength: Comparing injured vs. uninjured side
🔸Range of Motion: Full, pain-free sport specific movement(s) required for sport
🔸Power & Explosiveness: Ability to generate force quickly (e.g. vertical jump, hop distance, etc)
🔸Balance & Stability: Single-leg balance + control during landing and cutting movements
🔸Agility & Change of Direction: Sport-specific movements (e.g. shuttle runs, cutting drills, ladder drills, etc.)
🔸Movement Quality: How well movements are performed
