Terms like ‘stamina’ and ‘endurance’ are often used as synonyms but they are not the same. Endurance is about your ability to continue doing something over a length of time without stopping. Stamina is different because it involves performing at your highest level for a length of time. Increasing both your endurance and stamina can help you be more productive without being worn out afterwards. Adding interval training to your workouts, adding weights to cardio routines and allowing your body time to recover are all great ways to increase your endurance and raise your maximum level of physical performance. Do you find sound or song alarms too loud or shocking in the morning? Being surprised by sound can be jarring but there is another option. Sunlight sends signals to your body and mind that it is time to wake up and start the day. When you go to bed, open your blinds so the sunlight will fill your room and wake you up gently. If you don't feel comfortable opening your blinds or there's an annoying street lamp outside of your window, consider buying a sunrise alarm clock.
