This week, members of the Greenwood County Hospital Auxiliary generously volunteered their time at the local blood donation event held at the Methodist Church. ❤️

Our Auxiliary members are always finding ways to give back, whether it's supporting our hospital, helping at community events, or lending a hand wherever they're needed. 🥰Their dedication, compassion, and servant hearts make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

💊 Medication Refill Tips from Eureka & Howard Clinics

At both, Eureka & Howard Clinic, we want to help make sure you never run out of the medications you need. Planning ahead can help prevent delays and ensure your provider has enough time to review and process your refill request.

Here are a few helpful reminders:

💊 Please allow 48 hours for medication refill requests to be processed.

📅 Requests received after noon on Friday may not be completed until the end of the day Tuesday due to weekend hours.

⏰ For the best experience, request your refill at least 5 days before you need your medication. This provides extra time for provider review, pharmacy processing, or any unexpected delays.

🍎💙 Sharing knowledge, promoting health, and serving our community!

Saturday, our Nurse Educator, Beth, Director of Nursing Sonjia, and Nursing Supervisor Jessica had a wonderful time at the Greenwood Co. Fair, visiting with community members and sharing healthy tips and educational information. 🌿

From answering questions to providing practical health education, they enjoyed connecting with fairgoers of all ages and helping encourage healthy choices throughout our community. 🥰

A big thank you to Beth, Sonjia, and Jessica for representing GWCH with compassion, knowledge, and a commitment to keeping our community healthy. 🫶We are proud to have such dedicated leaders serving both inside and outside our hospital!
