April is Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month—a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and individuality of children living with limb loss or limb differences.
As pediatric therapists, we’re reminded every day that kids approach challenges with incredible courage, creativity, and determination. Through play, movement, and encouragement, they continue to discover what their bodies can do—not what limits them.
Progress may look different for every child, but every milestone—big or small—is worth celebrating. Our goal is to help each child grow stronger, more independent, and confident in who they are.
Let’s continue to raise awareness, celebrate these amazing kids, and build a more inclusive world for every child.
