MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST

EMG is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable, with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
•Accurately submit and manage medical claims
•Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
•Review claims for accuracy and resolve billing errors prior to submission
•Monitor and follow up on unpaid, denied, and rejected claims
•Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and remittances
•Manage accounts receivable and outstanding patient balances
•Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status, denials, and payment issues
•Assist with resolving patient billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
•Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
•Stay current with payer requirements, billing regulations, and coding guidelines
•Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
•Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure accurate and timely billing

Qualifications:
•Previous experience in medical billing, preferably in a primary care or family medicine setting
•Knowledge of insurance claims, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
•Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
•Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software preferred. Athena is a plus.

Now Hiring: Clinical Nurse Manager (LPN or RN)

Evans Medical Group is seeking a motivated, compassionate and organized Clinical Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for a licensed LPN or RN who is passionate about leadership and providing exceptional patient care for a busy primary care office.
Management experience is preferred but not required to apply. We are willing to invest in the right candidate with strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure efficient workflow
•Assist nursing staff and provide clinical support/coverage as needed
•Maintain and mange VFC (Vaccines for Children) program and accreditation requirements
•Lead and Facilitate staff meetings and clinical education
•Train, mentor, support new employees
•Schedule and supervise nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage
•Collaborate with management team to improve office operations and patient care
•Conduct annual employee evaluations
•Participate in hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions and performance management while maintaining appropriate documentation
•Remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations
•Help provide clinical coverage when needed if employees are out/short staff (may have to work on day off)

Qualifications:
•Current LPN or RN License
•Strong leadership and organization skills
•Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office
