You might not think of anxiety when your jaw is tight, your stomach is in knots, or you’re staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m. Many people assume these symptoms are separate problems to solve, but anxiety often shows up in the body long before we recognize what’s happening emotionally. If you’ve been feeling constantly on edge, exhausted, tense, or stuck in survival mode, your body may be trying to tell you something important.

Anxiety is highly treatable, therapy can help you understand what’s driving these symptoms, calm your nervous system, and feel more like yourself again!

We work with teens, college students, and adults who are tired of overthinking, worrying, and carrying stress alone. Ready to explore whether therapy could help? Comment “ANXIETY” below and we’ll send you a link to schedule a free consultation.

You don’t have to be falling apart for depression to be affecting your life.

One of the biggest misconceptions about depression is that it’s always obvious. In reality, many people continue working, caring for others, maintaining relationships, and handling responsibilities while quietly carrying a constant sense of heaviness. Over time, that heaviness can start to feel normal.

• “I’m just tired.”
• “I’ve always been this way.”
• “It’s not bad enough to get help.”
• “Other people have it worse.”

Emotional pain doesn’t need to reach a breaking point before you deserve support. If you’ve been functioning but not truly feeling well, therapy can provide a space to better understand what you’re experiencing and begin moving toward something more sustainable.

☀️ Especially during summer, when it feels like everyone else is supposed to be happy, it’s important to remember that your struggles are valid!

What if anxiety isn’t a sign that something is wrong? Many of the moments that shape our lives come with anxiety attached:

Starting a new job.
Having a difficult conversation.
Speaking up.
Trying something you’ve never done before.

We often assume anxiety means we’re not ready. But sometimes anxiety is simply your mind and body recognizing that something important is happening. Instead of saying, “I’m anxious,” try saying, “I’m excited.” The physical sensations are remarkably similar. Changing the story you attach to them can change how you experience them. 👌

Overthinking is rarely “just thinking too much.” For many it’s a constant cycle of analyzing, anticipating, replaying, and trying to prevent things from going wrong.

Overthinking can look like:
• perfectionism
• indecision
• anxiety
• emotional exhaustion
• difficulty relaxing
• needing constant reassurance

Your mind can start to feel like a place you can never fully rest. Overthinking is not a personality flaw. These patterns can be changed with awareness, support, and the right tools. Therapy can help you learn how to slow the spiral, tolerate uncertainty, and feel more grounded in the present and less trapped in your thoughts.

Save this for the days your mind won’t slow down. 💙🩵

School’s out and summer is here! ☀️ It’s the perfect time to slow down, explore what you enjoy, and take care of yourself. Rest, reconnect with hobbies, enjoy simple joys, get some fresh air, take mini-adventures, reflect on your thoughts, and most importantly—make summer yours.
Productivity isn’t everything. Prioritize your well-being, recharge, and enjoy the season. 💛

Exhaustion is not the only symptom of burnout. Sometimes burnout shows up as quick irritation over small things, losing motivation, or feeling emotionally checked out from the things you used to care about. In a culture that constantly pushes us to do more, compare more, and achieve more, burnout can sneak up quietly.

A few signs to pay attention to:
• Constant exhaustion, even after rest
• Feeling cynical or disconnected
• Trouble focusing or staying motivated
• Pulling away from people
• Increased stress showing up physically

Preventing burnout isn’t about “trying harder.” It’s about slowing down enough to notice what you need. Setting boundaries. Taking breaks without guilt. Moving your body. Protecting your sleep. Asking for help. Making time for things that remind you who you are outside of work or responsibilities.

You don’t have to earn rest! Taking care of your mental health is part of taking care of your life. 🤍

Not “all in your head.” But not just in your body either.

Pain and sleep are mind-body experiences—and that means they’re more changeable than they feel.

“One of the biggest dangers of AI is not that it sounds wrong — it’s that it sounds emotionally convincing.”

Just read, “The Most Dangerous Thing About AI Is How Human It Feels” by Temitope Ogundare, MD, MPH.

Ogundare explores how AI chatbots are increasingly being used for reassurance, emotional support, companionship, processing anxiety and loneliness. AI chatbot use can be especially risky for people struggling with overthinking, anxiety or isolation.

This thought from the article really stuck:

“The goal is not to take something away. It is to help the patient recognize that what they are receiving is a performance of understanding, not understanding itself, and to work toward relationships that can offer meaning and connectedness.”

A performance of understanding, not understanding itself.

Technology can absolutely be useful! But emotional realism is not the same as emotional connection.

What are your thoughts on AI becoming more emotionally persuasive? 👇

Overthinkers aren’t “dramatic.” They’re people who learned they always need to get things right.

So they replay conversations.
Prepare for every outcome.
Analyze every decision.
And carry pressure most people never see.

If this sounds familiar, remember that you don’t need to have everything figured out to be okay.
