✨ One of the things I love most about my profession is that there is always something new to learn.

Today I completed the Joe Glow Facial Massage, Scalp Massage & Intro to Lymphatic Drainage certification, and I left inspired and excited to bring these techniques into my practice.

This comprehensive training combined facial anatomy, body mechanics, facial and scalp massage, and introductory lymphatic drainage with extensive hands-on practice.

✨ We learned techniques including:
• Facial lymphatic drainage
• Myofascial release
• Facial reflexology
• Skin rolling
• Effleurage and petrissage massage
• Facial muscle lifting techniques
• Opening lymphatic sequences for the head and neck

✨ The course also focused on:
• Facial anatomy and body mechanics
• Supporting healthy circulation and lymphatic flow
• Reducing muscular tension and promoting relaxation
• Integrating these techniques into professional aesthetic treatments

As a Certified Oncology Aesthetician, I believe healthy, radiant skin begins by caring for the whole person. Continuing education allows me to bring thoughtful, science-informed techniques to every treatment I provide.

A gem of a treatment by a fellow esthetician—and an even bigger gem of a person. 💖

I’m grateful to be on the The Main-Dempster Mile and part of the Women’s Wellness Series!
