🌿 Before history books were written, Mescalero Apache women were preserving something even more powerful—living wisdom.

They were gatherers, healers, teachers, protectors of family traditions, and keepers of cultural knowledge. Through storytelling, ceremony, food preparation, plant medicine, and daily life, generations of wisdom were carried forward by the women of the tribe.

Their strength was not measured by titles, but by the lives they nurtured and the traditions they protected.

✨ The legacy of Mescalero Apache women continues today.
