I find a lot of providers throwing treatments (dry needling, cupping, manipulation, etc) and exercises at the painful tissues. There is a place for that, but PLEASE recognize you are not addressing why these structures became painful. HINT: It is not as simple as treating a joint above and below. You must systematically identify impairments throughout the chain, retest to ensure normalization, and confirm normal movement has been optimized.
