As we wrap up our 9th Annual Borrowed Hearts Back-to-School Bash, our hearts are so incredibly full of gratitude!
Today was more than a Back-to-School Bash.
It was a day filled with hope, kindness, laughter, encouragement, and SO much love!
To our foster & kinship families… THANK YOU for allowing us to serve your incredible children! Watching their excitement, hearing their laughter, and watching their confidence grow throughout the morning is exactly why we do what we do!!
To our amazing volunteers…..YOU showed up with servant hearts, willing hands, and endless smiles. You welcomed families, carried backpacks, sorted supplies, gave haircuts, handed out snacks, cheered on kiddos, and loved our community so well. We simply could NOT do this without you!
A VERY special thank you to The Hills Church for once again opening your doors and so generously allowing us to use your beautiful facility. Because of your generosity, our foster & kinship families were able to enjoy a welcoming, comfortable space where children could laugh, play, and simply be kids. Your partnership means more than we can adequately express, and this event would not be the same without you!
