🚗 One car...then another...and another! 😊

What looks like simple play is actually full of opportunities for learning. As this kiddo searches through the bin, chooses his favorite cars, and lines them up to play, he's practicing important skills like attention, decision-making, following a plan, and independent play.

In ABA therapy, we meet children where they are and use their interests to build meaningful skills through play. Because when learning is fun, progress comes naturally! 💙

🦁🌿 It was a wild day at APT! 🌿🐆

Our team brought their best jungle attire for Safari Theme Day, and we had so much fun seeing everyone’s creativity! 🦓🐒 From animal prints to safari-inspired looks, everyone understood the assignment. 👏

There's more to a slide than just fun!

Every trip up the stairs and every ride down the slide helps children build important developmental skills while they're having a great time!

✨ Climbing the stairs can help improve:
💪 Leg strength and core stability
⚖️ Balance and coordination
👣 Motor planning
🤝 Bilateral coordination (using both sides of the body together)

✨ Sliding down can help support:
🎯 Body awareness
🌟 Vestibular (balance and movement) processing
💙 Confidence as children try new challenges
😊 Turn-taking and social skills when playing with others

The best part? Kids are learning through play without even realizing it! Every climb, step, and slide is another opportunity to grow stronger, more coordinated, and more confident.

Watching Rowynn's determination has been so inspiring! 💜

She wants nothing more than to keep up with her siblings, and that motivation has fueled every milestone along the way. By thinking outside the box and making therapy fun, we've been working on her postural control and motor planning—and she's gone from sitting to taking steps! 👣

She's SO close to walking independently, and we couldn't be more proud of how hard she's working. Keep cheering her on, Rowynn! You've got this! 🌟
