We celebrated our amazing Occupational Therapy team at Rawlins House with a special lunch! Throughout the month, the Rawlins PT team has been showing appreciation for the OT staff with thoughtful little gifts, making it an extra meaningful celebration.

We were especially happy to have Mckenzey (currently on maternity leave) and baby Emerson join us for lunch. We’re so grateful for this incredible team and all the heart they bring every day!

Our Countryside team had a great time coming together for a pitch-in to celebrate a few special moments - Occupational Therapy Month, two April 25th birthdays, and welcoming a contract PT to the team for a while!

Congratulations to Ed Tyburski, COTA, on his promotion to Assistant Therapy Supervisor at Harbour Manor! 🎉

Ed brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked across acute, subacute, long-term care, and home health settings throughout his career. Originally from Indianapolis, he began his journey by enlisting in the U.S. Army COTA program after high school and later spent 27 years in Florida before returning to Indiana to be closer to family.

Outside of work, Ed enjoys riding his motorcycle, cooking, attending concerts, gaming, and checking out new places to eat and explore.

“I’m lucky to be working with such a great team under a fantastic supervisor as I start a new chapter in my life.”

Harbour Manor is proud to have Ed as part of the leadership team!

🌟 February LifeSpan Leader Spotlight: Stephen! 🌟

When a patient wasn’t feeling up to her outpatient therapy appointment, Stephen didn’t give up. He went to her apartment, encouraged her to participate, and together they had a fantastic session!

Her spouse, Jerry, stopped by the next day to share his gratitude: "Stephen really did a great job getting her to come down and do therapy when I couldn’t talk her into it." Jerry, who is also doing outpatient PT, added: "I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for years, and this team is the best you’ve had here in a while. They are really doing a great job."
